Abrams, MD, Chief of Hematology and Oncology at San Francisco General Hospital and Professor of Medicine at the University California. Dr. Abrams is widely known for his research on medical cannabis applications. \u201cUnfortunately, it carries with it a long and not so long history of being a persecuted plant,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Seriously people, as if hemp\u2019s potential to end our dependence on petroleum wasn\u2019t enough reason to end the war on marijuana, 40 years of studies have shown cannabis to be an effective treatment in the fight against cancer. If I didn\u2019t believe everything the Corporate Media tells me, I might start to think there was a conspiracy to keep us all sick and enslaved by an artificially high cost of living.
