The U.S. and the rest of the world are moving toward an approach that prioritizes public health and legal regulation \u2014 but she remains hopelessly committed to the failed war-on-drugs approach. She is plagued with scandals, out of touch with reality, and increasingly an embarrassment to both Attorney General Holder and President Obama.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">According to DEA Administrator Michele Leonhart, marijuana is as dangerous as heroin and crystal meth.\u00a0She believes it is\u00a0so destructive to the lives of the American people that her Federal Agents are\u00a0free\u00a0to ignore state law and destroy the lives of American people found in possession of that particular\u00a0<del>flower<\/del>\u00a0\u201cdangerous drug.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Along with the random searches, seizures, and SWAT Team killings, the DEA continues to arrest anybody who tries to grow marijuana\u2019s\u00a0botanical cousin hemp, which\u00a0has been\u00a0grown by generations of farmers including Presidents Washington and Jefferson.\u00a0She continues to earn $165,000 of our\u00a0taxes a year by declaring that the long history of hemp as a renewable resource didn\u2019t happen and that even if it did we shouldn\u2019t be allowed to grow it again because all those amber waves of hemp would make it hard for her DEA agents to catch the real criminals who are smoking pot and playing Pink Floyd too loud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Why? Because\u00a0hemp\u00a0looks so\u00a0much like\u00a0marijuana that\u00a0all those poor DEA agents\u00a0might\u00a0get confused \u00a0and arrest innocent farmers. The solution:\u00a0Proactively arresting those farmers growing hemp for fuel and food, and fiber so they don\u2019t accidentally arrest them later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Make sense?<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Of course not, unless you are paid to\u00a0perpetuate\u00a0the fear of \u201cpoor people on drugs\u201d and the belief that our Federal Government should continue to spend $20 Billion a year destroying the lives\u00a0of innocent Americans who aren\u2019t hurting anybody.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">There are no words for how destructive the War on Drugs has been to the American people.
