Steve Bannon Believes The Apocalypse Is Coming And War Is Inevitable<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

In Bannon\u2019s view,\u00a0we are in the midst of an existential war, and everything is a part of that conflict. Treaties must be torn up, enemies named, culture changed. Global conflagration, should it occur, would only prove the theory correct. For Bannon, the Fourth Turning has arrived. The Grey Champion, a messianic strongman figure, may have already emerged. The apocalypse is now.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is truly terrifying and sums up the biggest threat of\u00a0the Trump administration: They are paranoid, delusional, greed-driven sociopaths who don\u2019t care about a sustainable\u00a0future because they TRULY BELIEVE Armageddon is at hand and that they have been\u00a0sent by their God to\u00a0begin a religious\u00a0war.<\/p>\n

This messianic\u00a0paranoia is the same fear behind every extremist sect, whether Christian, Muslim, or Jewish, and it is this minority of terrified\u00a0fanatics who are behind the terrorist attacks around the world, while the rest of us get caught in the crossfire.\u00a0\u201cKilling for [insert favorite\u00a0God here]\u201d has a long and glorious history, but all it really comes down to is tribalism and the fear that there isn\u2019t enough for everybody to survive so\u00a0some people have to die, and \u201cit\u2019s better for THEM\u00a0to die than US\u201d.<\/p>\n

With their \u201cfight or flight\u201d response in\u00a0overdrive, these terrified true believers can easily justify their attacks on anybody who is \u201cdifferent\u201d and thus a threat to their way of life.\u00a0The \u201cwinner take all\u201d view of these sad people leads to the jingoistic and isolationist\u00a0\u201cUS against THEM\u201d mentality that\u00a0is completely invalidated by\u00a0the simple\u00a0fact that people are stronger when they work together for their common good, instead of fight each other\u00a0for\u00a0burnt scraps at the bottom of the barrel.<\/p>\n

This is a huge topic, but there is a simple solution. All of this fear is based on \u00a0continuing our forced dependance on a limited supply of expensive and toxic foreign oil, but the simple fact is this: Better, cheaper, and cleaner solutions are available today, and have been for decades.<\/p>\n

Imagine if America had followed the lead of President Carter when he put solar panels on the White House, instead of blindly following President Reagan as he took them off and dove into bed with foreign oil dictatorships like\u00a0Saudi Arabia. And now, Putin.<\/p>\n

A clean, green, sustainable\u00a0economy based on industrial hemp and solar power is possible today. It could rebuild the heartland of this country and would\u00a0end the\u00a0flow of our tax money into the cancerous militery-industrial-petrochemial-banking complex that has been bleeding\u00a0our nation\u00a0dry for over 100 years.<\/p>\n

Simply put, the oil age is dead. We\u2019ve hit peak oil and instead of facing\u00a0a\u00a0Mad Max style fight for \u201cgazzoline\u201d we are seeing the\u00a0world happily move to cheaper, cleaner alternatives that\u00a0leave fossil fuels in the dust bin of history where they belong. The Trump administration and their Wall St. backers are simply\u00a0trying to grab as much of our\u00a0silver as possible\u00a0as they walk out the door.<\/p>\n

Once people realize that only corrupt corporate politicians stand between us\u00a0and enough food, clothing, shelter, and fuel for everybody to survive and thrive, we will\u00a0finally move past the fear driven politics of the last 100 years.\u00a0Unfortunately,\u00a0that won\u2019t happen until we have a real government \u201cOf the people, By the people, and For the people\u201d that will move us toward\u00a0a\u00a0sustainable future fed by American farmers and a strong middle class, instead of clinging desperately to a dying petrochemical past that has brought nothing but death to\u00a0generations of Americans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
